This class is very dear to my heart, and I’m dreading not seeing you all next week. So I hope you will stay in touch. Send me emails, show your work on the Cedar Valley Painters’ Facebook page, or join me at Thursday Painters at the Hearst from 9 to noon. Most importantly, continue your journey of playing with the creative muse wherever that journey takes you.
This week, I debated whether to go all in on flowers or stretch and try for fur. A couple of emails from all of you tipped the scales toward flowers. I’m including the fur tutorial at the end of this email, along with a PDF of a flower and bunny drawing you can download and paint. Consider posting your work here on Facebook.
Here’s the tutorial on flowers:
I also really like this video as it reminds you of all the techniques we’ve been practicing as a tool for painting flowers.
This video uses another technique and includes pen and ink to accent flowers.
If you loved painting book marks to give away. Here’s a treasure trove of free downloadable resources I found.

And Now Fur!
I LOVE this video!
This one is also helpful as it tells you want not to do!
Here’s the download of my creation, a bunny in flowers.
I wish you all a wonderful adventure as you continue on your creative journey! This is so long, but it's not goodbye. I will continue sending you notes and tutorials I’m watching as I continue my journey.
Until we meet again,
Felicia
